The Montreal à l’oeil photography competition 30th edition

Are you a photographer with Montréal in your sights? Once a year, the CHM invites you to participate in the photography contest “Montréal à l’œil.” Selected photographs from among those submitted are exhibited at the CHM.

Town houses, country house; Montreal’s beautiful residences.

May 5 to October 12, 2008

From Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue in the west to Pointe-Aux-Trembles in the east, Montreal’s residential heritage reflects the richness of its history. Multi- and single-family dwellings, cottages, and farm houses: the diversity of the beautiful homes of Montreal contributes not a little to our city ’s charm and personality. This year’s competition is a unique opportunity to hunt out the architectural jewels in the crown that is the island of Montreal. Get out your cameras and help us to discover these hidden and not-so-hidden beauties.
